Lighting of the Christmas Tree on the Grove w/ Friends

Our friends, Wendy & Brian and their two adorable girls, invited us to join them for the Christmas Tree lighting on the Grove. It now definitely feels like the Christmas Season has started. It was fun getting together all bundled up with snow on the ground, lights all around, live Christmas music, downtown atmosphere, people holding candles and dancing. Our friends really know how make the night fun. We joined in singing some songs and danced a little.

After that we had Really yummy Hot chocolate & warm chocolate...hehe. Our friendship is just too funny...and we are almost practically family! sort of :) Played Taboo, put the kids to bed and watched a fun movie. LOVED IT!

Our little girls played well, so glad they are both at an age where they can really interact and play together instead of playing by each other. And the two youngest...well, we just cooed over them at how cute they are and how fast they are growing up! Thanks friends for that great night!

And I just have to say, driving in the snow at night just has a peacefulness to it. Maybe the snow is a sound buffer or something... and then pure white it somewhat lights up the dark night sky. And Curtis has fun with testing out the car too...has to do it at least once every year! :) Snow is great.
